The Flying Field

The most important part of our club is the flying field which is a well mown flat grass strip around 150 metres by 40 metres running SW - NE and is large enough for almost any normal model.
There are several model tables outside of the Tower which are used for flight preparation of aircraft and starting IC models.
There is a charging bench outside the Tower with numerous external electric charging points.
We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year for those club members who wish to fly whenever the fancy takes them.
We have several seats and benches outside where you can sit in the sun with a mug of tea and watch the flying.

The Tower

We have a kitchen with excellent facilities and we normally have hot & cold food available during members events.
Tea & Coffee is available whenever the Tower is open.
There are outside electric hook-ups for caravans and a grass area is set aside for those who wish to camp during weekend events.
There are toilets (both M & F) in the Tower and hot & cold water is available therein.
Model building facilities are available upstairs in the Tower.
There is also a workshop where repairs can be undertaken after gravity interferes with a flight.
